Green Tea Extract at a Glance
Green tea is a very powerful antioxidant that has many beneficial effects over your body. I am sure you read this all the time and probably wonder what makes greentea so popular – it’s the green tea extract.
The green tea extract active compounds are polyphenols. They are great fighting against free radicals in your body. Free radicals, such as singlet oxygen are generated after certain metabolic processes in your body, and they can be very harmful.
A recent research has revealed that the green tea extract potency is due to polyphenols, which are flavonoids, such as catechin.
Actually green tea extract contains four types of catechins, and one of them is Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG).
EGCG is the most powerful compound in the green tea extract. It is about 100 times more potent antioxidant than vitamins C and E, which proves why it is also called “super antioxidantâ€.
For example: one cup of green tea provides 10-40 mg of polyphenols and has greater antioxidant effect than a normal serving of carrots or strawberries.
If you multiply this by 30, you’ll get how much polyphenols are contained in only one GreenTea300 Diet Patch or only one tea packet from the GreenTea300 weight loss system – truly amazing potency.
