Quality Control of Avatrim - Basics

All raw materials we use are of the highest quality and pass very strict quality control prior utilization. Before production all raw materials are being tested. During the stage of production any product that does not adhere to our high standards is being rejected by our strict quality control engineers.

Every step of our manufacturing process is well documented and reviewed by quality control specialists. All our personnel strictly follow the protocol during the manufacturing process.

No contamination during the manufacturing process is possible due to our regularly and properly cleaned and maintained manufacturing equipment. All procedures are documented in company log for review by the Department of Agriculture. All production records for each and every product unit (including raw materials) are being filed for two years after the product’s expiration date.

Quality Control of Avatrim - Details

Raw Materials

We use only reputable wholesalers for purchasing the raw materials we need. We obtain Certificate of Analysis for each raw material we purchase from our suppliers. Moreover, our house Quality Assurance team makes further raw materials analysis for authenticity.

Product Analysis

Each product manufactured has a product analysis record. It contains a lot number for each of the ingredients, as well as the specific components of the herbal product, the production methods are also included.

Packaging and Labeling Materials

We use only reputable wholesalers for purchasing the packaging materials. To avoid any confusion we make sure all labels are properly assigned to all products. We also make cross checking of all new labels to make sure that there are no printing errors.

Lot Numbers

Once we receive an order, every herbal supplement that is about to be manufactured is entered in the production records under a unique lot number. The raw materials are released to the pharmacy after all products have been checked for authenticity.

Manufacturing Guidelines of Avatrim

These are manufacturing guidelines of Avatrim Herbal Supplements production that ensure our products’ top quality:

Granulation and Blending

The equipment we use for granulation and blending is inspected by the Director of Operations prior to use. All raw materials are being inspected once again for final time. The lots are then processed following the strict manufacturing guidelines for every herbal product. After granulation and blending, the powder blends are stored in special containers to ensure their freshness and to avoid contamination. The Director of Operations makes certain that all new blends are properly labeled.

Compression and Encapsulation

First a test unit is processed and then a sample of it is issued to Quality Assurance to be compared to the standard samples in order to ensure product integrity. Once the test unit is approved by Quality Assurance, the full line production begins. Quality Assurance inspectors use special set of protocols for capsules. The capsules are also stored in special containers to ensure their freshness and to avoid contamination. The Director of Operations ensures that all new capsules are properly labeled.

Liquids

Liquid products production follows the same strict protocols as the ones described above – for granulation, blending, compression and encapsulation.v

Packaging and Final Inspection

The final product is inspected once again by the Quality Assurance team. Any over filled capsules, broken tablets and other products with defects are removed immediately from the lot. After Quality Assurance team releases the products they are either bottled and labeled for consumer use or packaged for bulk storage (labels contain the appropriate information required by the Federal Drug Administration; batch numbers are logged). All finished products are properly labeled and sealed with a tamper proof seal.

The Quality Assurance team retains samples of the raw materials for one year after the expiration date of the last product they have been used in. Samples of finished products are also retained for one year after the products’ expiration date. All samples are kept under specially controlled conditions.

Final Products

The final products are stored in a special climate controlled environment under quarantine until final delivery to our customers.

Avatrim Herbal Supplements are manufactured strictly following the Good Manufacturing Practices set forth by the US Federal Drug Administration. The Quality Assurance staff does schedule and surprise inspections occasionally during different steps of the manufacturing process. This way they ensure the high quality, purity and strength for all the raw materials and the finished herbal supplements.
